Oh Hae-seop et al.: Youth Guidance Methodology

In writing this new book on youth guidance methodology, several factors were considered. First, it is crucial to understand the social environment and changes surrounding youth within the context of current trends, while also striving to reflect the demands of the field. Based on this, it was determined that it is necessary to focus the development of guidance methods on the most pressing current issues. On the other hand, program developers and leaders in the field also need to make efforts to reflect cultural, social, and structural conditions. In this regard, existing textbooks on youth guidance methodology appear to focus primarily on the principles, basic concepts, and application methods of youth guidance. In contrast, this new methodology aims to reflect, to the greatest extent possible, the newly emerging demands of the field and program development items while maintaining the existing logical and conceptual framework.
