Öden von Horvath: Godless youth

janden von Horbatt. 1901. 1938, as a leading German playwright and novelist, left more than 20 works, including the book Young People Without God, The Story of the Empty Forest, Casimir and Carolline, Love of Faith, and Children in Our Day. The country has been introduced to translate the drama around it. Horvat's leading novel, Young People Without God, deals with the story of teenagers living in the age of Fascism. The unspoken, unexpressed, cold-years, either push the poor and alienated young people into crime or even go along with them, with a critical view of their parents, their church, their capital and their nation. After his first release in Amsterdam, he was banned from Germany by the Nazis, but within a year it was translated into eight languages and read throughout Europe, and produced a great echo that would be considered filmmaking. I hope that the translation of this book will be a new conversation between Horvat and his novel.
