Northeast Asian History Foundation: Detailed List of Japanese Diplomatic Documents on Korea-Japan Talks 3
The release of the summit diplomatic documents led to a forced mobilization in which victims filed a public document against the Korean government in 2002. In a lawsuit filed in Japan, victims of forced labor decided that the Japanese court had paid all compensation for the 1965 bill agreement, and they were asked to force the bill to reveal how the victim's problem was handled. Then, in 2004, victims were won by force, and the South Korean government released about 35,000 documents in 2005. The North Korean History Foundation has worked together with the National University of Japan to organize a vast amount of foreign documents since the release of a conference diplomatic document in both countries. The first work was to systematically sort out Korean diplomatic documents, and release the 5,000th dollar of the summit meeting in 2008. Later, the lawsuits led to the systematic grouping of about 90,000 Japanese diplomatic documents, including further public documents, and the results were published in a detailed list of five Japanese diplomatic archives. I hope this will help South Korea and Japan solve problems that are facing them with a sense of how the central issues are discussed and an objective understanding of what they're talking about.
