Noh Sang-woo: Ecological Education

*Ecological Pedagogy* is the result of exploration conducted by the author together with his graduate students. We devoted a significant amount of time to the interpretation of humanity and new educational research. In doing so, we examined the "pride of the subject (human)" that became the foundation of modern pedagogy, the "other alienated by the subject," and expressed concern over the "crisis of nature" that has been instrumentalized by the subject. In doing so, we pondered how to transform the precarious coexistence between humans and nature—a distorted existence—into a life of mutual prosperity.
