It’s a helpful book for life, filled with good things.
I enjoyed it so much that I read the whole thing during my trip. I wanted to read the series in order, so I ordered the first three books.
It’s more thrilling and entertaining than the drama. It’s also fun to compare it with the show.
I was watching the drama and got curious about the original, so I bought the book.
It had been a long time since I’d read such an exciting novel, with a story so compelling that I wanted to keep reading and found it hard to put the book down.
It was thrilling from start to finish. I looked it up because it was the source for the drama, and it was so entertaining that I didn’t regret it at all.
It was featured as a thriller recommendation from Kyobo Bookstore, so I grabbed it right away. I only learned from the book that it had also been made into a drama. I barely watch TV, so I had no idea! I’m really looking forward to it.
I want to know how the drama ends 😢
I ordered the book after watching the drama, and I’m already excited to read it. There are quite a few characters, so it’s a little challenging, but I’ll take my time and work through it.
I bought the book and was excited to open it, but it arrived with a bent corner. A clean cover is part of what makes buying a new book feel special, and with the corner crumpled, how is it any different from a used book...? I have always been very happy with my purchases, but seeing this book arrive damaged left me deeply disappointed.
Nele Neuhaus: Death to Snow White
Snow White Must Die is the signature work of Nele Neuhaus, the author who brought German mysteries to readers around the world, and the fourth book in the Taunus series, one of Europe’s most popular series. Upon its 2010 release, it achieved the remarkable feat of holding the number-one spot for 32 weeks, beginning just three days after publication. For many years, when she was unknown, Neuhaus handled all the publishing work herself. Reflecting on the book’s astonishing success, she once said, ‘Don’t call me Cinderella. I spent 20 years preparing to become Cinderella.’ In 2013, the Taunus series was adapted into a television miniseries by Germany’s ZDF and drew high ratings. At last, it has also been adapted in Korea as a drama titled Snow White Must Die, airing on MBC in August 2024. The drama, starring actor Byun Yo-han and directed by Byun Young-joo, made headlines after being invited to the non-competitive section of the 7th Cannes International Series Festival in 2024. To mark the occasion, this special collector’s edition has been published with a cover that captures the mood of the original and revised wording and sentences in the text to reflect the times. The special edition of Snow White Must Die will be a meaningful gift both to longtime fans of Nele Neuhaus and the Taunus series and to those newly drawn into the world of German mysteries through the drama. Tobias was the perfect young man, admired by his peers and full of promise in the eyes of adults. The day he was arrested for murdering two girlfriends and hiding their bodies, his life plunged in an instant. Ten years later, after his release, he finds his father visibly diminished, his father’s restaurant, the Golden Rooster, closed, and the townspeople tormenting him beyond all bounds.
