National Geographic Information Institute, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: Research on Improvement Measures for the Public Surveying System
Public surveying began in 1961, based on the feared A.D.T. Act No. 2 Article 3. Public surveying has been adopted and operated to unite standards of construction, data processing, and the same things as the mapping and infrastructure required for the nation to rebuild and build a foundation for economic growth. But the current surveying environment is changing. If the past surveys and measures were defined in a larger range of space information, and if the primary objective was to secure citizens with accurate mapmaking and construction performances, then the task is to do the basic data that is most fundamental to many very complex areas, such as building and transportation, earthquakes, accurate location and access to fire and security, and autonomous cars. As the environment of public surveying has changed, public surveys and public surveyal and public data have emphasized its role and need, and in order to bring about these changes, a consistent institutional improvements have been done to accommodate the changes required in the present and future environments.
