Miguel de Cervantes: Don Quixote 2
The “Darakwon Spanish Learning Library” series is a collection of Spanish literary works that anyone learning Spanish must read at least once. It features adaptations into modern Spanish tailored to the learner's level, presented with clear translations. Among them, “Darakwon Spanish Learning Library ④: Don Quixote 2” is a masterpiece by the world-renowned master Miguel de Cervantes and stands at the pinnacle of world literary history. This work is regarded as the first modern novel for its encyclopedic organization of the major themes of the time while unfolding them with a splendid repertoire. It portrays the great universal human values through the adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, who represent idealism, love, and freedom amidst the mockery and deception of the world. While “Darakwon Learning Series 3 Don Quixote 1” focuses on the illusory adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho, the second part, “Darakwon Spanish Learning Series 4 Don Quixote 2,” portrays the human side of Don Quixote and Sancho, offering a different kind of emotional resonance compared to the first part, which depicted the protagonists as objects of humor and satire.
