A classic on humans, sexuality, and instinct, which 'Will' also mentioned several times in the novel *Me Before You*. In a way, while theories are widely known and taken for granted in modern times, it is more important to understand the process, evidence, and thought process behind them. I finally finished reading it... I'm proud of myself for patiently reading a book over 500 pages long.... But it wasn't written in a particularly difficult way.... The author said he wrote it targeting general readers, after all..... It's interesting because it explains human nature from various angles through the perspective of sexual selection... It's just that it's so thick that it doesn't make you dare to start reading it right away, but once you start, it's a book you can enjoy... I've

*The Red Queen*, a report on human sexuality and evolution by Matt Ridley—author of *Genome* and *Nature and Nurture*—describes evolution unfolding in a biological environment, unlike evolutionary theories that focus on physical environments. Why do humans possess both sexes (male and female)? Why do humans possess sex and engage in sexual reproduction? Furthermore, what is human nature? The author, a Ph.D. in Zoology from Oxford University, presents answers to these questions through a vast
