Li An Show: Our affectionate silence

The silent, flowery friendship of our own kind of quiet comfort to the wounded. There are two girls, 17 years old and lost. Alexandra, after losing her only friend in an automobile accident, gives up on herself. The neighbors tell me to stop doing it, but all the horses are too much. Johnny can't move or talk because of his innate illness. No one is waiting for Johnny to answer, but he has a huge array of questions to ask, of course. Alexandra is taken to a hospital where Johnny is on social service orders and helps her train for language therapy. They're not as frustrated as they are with other people, but they feel a sense of touch and curiosity. They spend time together, realizing that they can share their feelings without talking. And they start desperately trying to tell their stories, which they have in mind for each other who can recognize themselves without saying anything.
