Author Leonit Azarf describes his job as a physical scientist, not a physicist. There's nothing as interesting as physics to him who wanted to be a physicist from his childhood, but when someone asks him about a job, he says, "He's a physicist," because he is sad and turns on the subject. But we can relate to the fact that science is boring and sleepy enough to be in school alone, and that his conversation changes the subject with sadness.
