Description

This book is an introductory JavaScript guide for web designers. Assuming there is absolutely no programming experience, it explains JavaScript coding at a beginner's level. JavaScript is an object-oriented language based on object-driven programming. Therefore, it is crucial to understand objects and know how to utilize them effectively. However, beginners must first master general programming syntax and rules—such as variables, constants, conditional statements, loops, arrays, and functions—before learning about objects. To this end, this book is structured into two parts to enable efficient learning of both programming basics and JavaScript. Chapters 1–5 explain general programming syntax while omitting the concept of objects. Chapters 6–8 explain objects based on the knowledge gained in the previous parts. The focus is on enhancing understanding by building concepts progressively. Furthermore, each chapter allows for focused study of the programming concepts and JavaScript that are immediately necessary.
