Lee Wook et al.: The Rites of the Korean Empire and the Korean Rituals

The proclamation of the Empire for 1897 was a reform to ensure the sequence of the Chosun dynasty and move into its own modern, independent state in the wake of the opening of the Ten Commandments. The empire has since tried to create a central imperial state, and though it lasted for 13 short years to the consolidation of the year, the task of getting it into modern countries, the way of reform and the review of its limits are very important in understanding our modern history. The theme of the book, Tung-sang-song-sun, is a very long-term text for understanding imperial national precedents, which gives us a sense of how the regimeal precedents were maintained and changed. And it's also very important to understand the parts that have been distorted by the First Amendment and then passed on to the present. Nevertheless, the imperial ritual has been abandoned by research as a negative awareness of internal conflict and threats to neighboring countries that are concerned about the safety of the country. But the new age demands new rituals. Reforms that break down the existing order and start a new life can be reformed by the change in rituals. The new modern era since the opening of the harbor has also demanded the proper ritual of the time. To make sure that Chosun was not a government of the Ching dynasty and was the equivalent of Japan and other Western powers was to raise itself first. The same is true of the efforts of the nation. What was the empire of the late 19th century that faced tradition and modernism, the West and the Orient more than ever before? What should the national precedent look like in a time when there was much to be thrown away rather than insisting on past traditions?
