Although I am not a philosophy major, reading philosophy books translated into Korean, as well as popular and academic works by philosophers, I felt there was a peculiar antagonistic dynamic among them. Of course, no one directly criticized specific individuals by name, but I could sense that certain philosophers within the Korean philosophical community were attempting to pursue what is called "Korean philosophy" from a single sentence written by a philosopher named A in passing, stating,

This is a research book published after years of preparation by Professor Lee Seung-jong of Yonsei University, who has explored the philosophy of dialogue across various fields. In this work, the subjects of his dialogue are Korean philosophers, aestheticians, and artists who have pioneered the world of our thought.
