Lee Seong-si: Ancient history as a battleground
In a remarkable book called the Three Men, which was opened in 2001, Professor Lee Saishi of Japan's Waseda University tried to decommission the ancient text of East Asia and try boldly to rebuild the ancient history of ancient East Asia in its context of modern national systems. And it has given a fresh shock to the intelligence of South and East Asia, presenting a problem with nationalism that is involved in the history and interpretation.
