Lee Seong-il: Ancient English poetry

[The ancient Englishmen] all contain nine ancient psalms. [Beowl] is a epic, representing the ancient English poem. If the [Iliad] of Hormerus and [Odyssey] of Vergiius are the typical epic of Mediterranean culture, [Beowulf] is the only ancient poem that shows a facet of the Germanic literary tradition of northern China. It also brought together the results of the ancient psalms I have read with great pleasure, as long as my ability is allowed. The literary act 'translation' gives readers who are not prepared to read the source a sense of feeling that the person reading the source felt and starts off with a desire to share it. In that sense, this book is for the common reader. But as a person who has spent his life studying foreign literature, he also wants to leave some guidelines for later studies that can help him. It would be meaningful to provide a translation that would be referenced to the reading of the source.
