Lee Nam-hyung et al.: Economics of Technological Innovation (26-1 semester textbook)
Considering the complexity of innovation, it does not just contain the view of economics. History, psychology, industrial engineering and business sciences are all part of the research. And as we'll learn, new knowledge is created from different combinations of knowledge. The book is divided into three large sections. Chapter one through five deals with the basic concepts for understanding innovation, such as economic meanings of innovation, the nature of justice and product innovation, innovation and price strategies, standard competition and economic property rights. Chapters 6 through 10 deal with innovation efforts, creativity, entrepreneurship, selection of innovation projects, organization structure, new product development and development management, collaboration efforts. Chapter 11 through 15 deals with policy issues that can arise across the economy as innovation, market structure, employment change, economic growth, international trade and other innovation efforts are spreading. After watching the video and reading the book, I hope that you can get the idea that economics can use in real business as it comes to understanding the difference between innovation and invention, as it relates to innovation management, price strategies, patents and standardization strategies. On the other hand, the background and direction of government policies and the big economic issues of employment and income change, economic growth and trade as well as innovations can be understood through this book.
