Lee Jong-won: Christian Cooperative Theory
The book was designed to look at the cooperative movement as an alternative to the new economic system of New liberalism, based on a theoretical consideration of cooperation and the ethics of favor. To do so, we first argue that the social and economic movement, such as cooperatives, is the foundation for our society's stability through the theoretical basis of the cooperative movement and ethical considerations of favor. And I looked for a realistic way to solve this by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the cooperative movement. Part 1 looked at the ethic of cooperation and favor, which became the theoretical foundation of the cooperative. The ethic of collaboration and favor is an alternative to overcoming the infinite competition and selfishness of the neo-liberist economy. They criticized the tragedy of shared land, the Inklosure movement, the prisoner's dilemma, and through the social economy, they presented a possibility of coexistence and life. Part 2 looked at the value and role of Christian cooperatives based on the Bible and Christian history. The core value of cooperatives is cooperation and human respect. The cooperative values people, cooperation, and co-lines rather than capital. We've looked at examples of the spirit of cooperation that has been implemented in the Bible and in Christian history. Part 3 looked at the situation of Christian cooperatives and sought out solutions to the real limits along with strength. Social economic movements, such as cooperatives, have the strength to strengthen communities by strengthening their identity and solidarity, but they are vulnerable in terms of magnitude and sustainability, looking for solutions.
