Thank you for carefully explaining physics theories that often seem difficult. This is very useful. I will need to read it thoroughly several times.
Seeing "First Steps" on the cover, it is easy to mistake this for an introductory book starting from the alphabet. However, unless you are a high school science student or a science major, someone like me who feels distant from science will likely find the difficulty level a bit high. Nevertheless, once you finish reading it, it is a book that acts like a "bungee jump"—it makes you want to read books in other science fields as well!
It explains things in an easy-to-understand way, making it a useful book that even those unfamiliar with physics can easily approach. It contains a lot of great content that I hope everyone reads.
I majored in science and engineering (though not physics) and have always been very interested in popular science books. Typically, popular science books, especially those in physics, tend to focus on engaging examples rather than difficult content for the general public. As a result, they flow smoothly while reading, but usually nothing sticks in your memory afterward. Perhaps that is why they tend to be thin. However, this book is quite thick. You can feel the care and effort the physics teacher put into writing this for the students. The illustrations and photos are also very helpful for understanding. I highly recommend it.

As a physics instructor in the Daechi-dong academy district, the author felt the need for a "practical physics manual" applicable to real-world teaching and learning environments, and has poured all his accumulated know-how into this book. This is because one cannot introduce physics for the first time to "physics novices" through formulas.
