This book was written with the purpose of focusing on clarifying the relationship between moral philosophy and moral education, and providing reading material that would be helpful for the studies of prospective teachers who will be in charge of moral education classes in the future, as well as current teachers. As suggested by the subtitle, "Twelve Questions and Answers," the author posed twelve questions expected to contribute to clarifying the relationship between moral philosophy and moral education, and devoted his primary interest and effort to presenting satisfactory answers to those questions. The answers presented by the author in this book serve strictly as example responses to the questions, and the possibility for other answers is always left open.
