Description

A world made of 0s and 1s—this is the digital world. Before computers appeared, our world was analog. Like leaves rustling in the wind, a baby sleeping soundly, and a grandfather's clock. The digital world was born not long ago. Since it began with the advent of computers, it hasn't even been 100 years. However, this is an incredible world where anything can be created using only two numbers: 0 and 1. What dreams will humans dream in this new world? Let's learn the concepts essential for understanding the digital world step by step with Red-haired Digi.

This book explains basic computer knowledge and terminology through beautiful illustrations that stimulate children's interest and easy-to-understand explanations. It explains concepts that children might find difficult or unfamiliar, such as hardware, software, artificial intelligence, and big data, using simple words and expressions, so even children who are not familiar with computers will likely be able to understand it easily. I recommend this book to children who want to acquire general

Most educational coding books on the market cover block-coding-based maker activities using Scratch and Entry, but this book distinguishes itself by capturing the essence of computers. Moreover, the explanations accompanied by illustrations make it easy for elementary school students to understand, yet it is by no means superficial.

Great Books' "Coding with the Computer." People say coding education is important for the future, but honestly, even as a mom, I can't really explain exactly what coding is when my child asks. After reading "Coding with the Computer" by Great Books, I finally got a better grasp of it. These are terms we have encountered so naturally, but I feel like I learned their detailed meanings after reading this book. If you look at the table of contents, you can see the history of computers at a glance,

As a former programmer who worked in the field about 10 years ago, I was incredibly curious about how to teach coding to children and what programs are used for teaching these days, so I read the book along with my child. My elementary schooler is interested in computers in many ways and is scheduled to take an after-school coding class this semester, so I intended to read the book *Coding with the Computer* thoroughly and use it to get help with coding programs. When I received the book, I

It is good that you can learn digital basics at an elementary school lower grade level. I think it will be helpful for young children.

I purchased this from another site. It seems like a ray of light for teachers and parents who are unsure how to teach coding. The readability is excellent, and the content is well-explained in simple language, making it easy enough for upper elementary students just starting to code on computers to understand. I believe this book will serve as a starting point for laying the foundation and cultivating computational thinking skills for the children who will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The basic concepts of computers and coding are explained in an easy-to-understand way. While many coding books for young children thoughtlessly use difficult vocabulary to explain definitions, this book conveys the content effectively while being readable without difficulty by middle-grade elementary school students. It is great because it makes it easy to teach concepts that were previously difficult to explain to children.

It is great that computer-related knowledge is easy to understand. While there is a global craze for coding and software education, and related courses are being incorporated into the public education system in Korea, this book is structured in a very accessible way so that even those who don't know how current computer education differs from the past, or those who have a general understanding but lack basic knowledge of terminology, can learn. It is a book that can be helpful to everyone, from
