This is an introductory text on cognitive theory that features names such as C.E. Osgood, which are rarely found in existing introductory books on educational psychology. Furthermore, since the first edition was published in 1973, Lee Hong-woo’s *Theory of Cognitive Learning* holds significant academic and historical value in many respects, as it may be the first document to introduce Vygotsky’s theory to Korea.
