The honest view that he has put out a book too early to be collected and studied for two more years is the same as thinking that if he does his research and does his best to do so, he will be able to find a really good book. The conclusion of the argument is somewhat hollowly unconvinced, even in this same warm, lukewarm state. Given this disadvantage, it's a good book to read.
