Tokyo was a dream travel destination for me! So, I visited Tokyo three years ago, and the memories of that trip remain vivid. I am still dreaming of another trip to Tokyo. ^^ I finally got to read *Everyday Strolls in Tokyo*, a book I had really wanted to read. Although I have only been to Tokyo once, I cannot forget the feeling from that time. Since I tend to walk a lot when traveling, I walked so much back then—enough to barely stand when I woke up the next day. The best part of my Tokyo trip
Lee Cherry: Tokyo Daily Walk
“Tokyo Everyday Stroll” for travelers returning to the city. This book is a guidebook for those who have visited Tokyo at least once, as well as for those seeking to discover a new kind of joy in a travel destination that feels both familiar and unfamiliar. Rather than a travel book that focuses intensively on specific "places," it introduces destinations by placing greater emphasis on the "process" of walking to the destination, just as the process is more important than the result in life. It proposes walking paths that allow you to travel easily using public transportation and without pressure, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of Tokyoites rather than focusing on cliché landmarks. The author has generously included Tokyo’s best walking paths, new routes not found in existing guidebooks, paths familiar to locals but not well-known to the general public, and trails one might have wanted to keep as a secret solo travel destination. If you wish to savor the simple yet sophisticated daily life of Japan, are a traveler who enjoys walking tours, or dream of a special trip to Tokyo, this book will serve as your ultimate guide.
