Lee Bong-ho: The first philosophers

This is a book that introduces the philosophers of nature before Socrates. Western philosophers are born of these natural philosophers. So why did the first philosophy begin in Greece, not in mainland Greece, but in colonialpolis? And why are they called philosophers? What did the first philosophers do? What is the philosophy that these people first started? A book that cools down all these questions is rare. This book also helps us understand Socrates and his own student Plato's philosophy. Because the history, culture, political understanding of Athens, and the reason for the natural philosophers that were behind Socrates, were so easily stepped down.
