Lee Beom-jae et al.: General Architecture

Basically, architecture should be understood on a human basis and as a single idea. Technology is one of the tools and the tools that make architecture work. So the purpose of architecture is not in technology, but in architecture itself. There's paintings in architecture, there's sculptures, there is music, there are human love, sin and punishment and the heart and death. What I want to tell you about in this book is not the contents of landscapes, but the architecture as a module that will appear when all these things are assembled. What it is is a kind of ‘advances ’ that should take a lifetime to explore. It's therefore the "life of man" of itself.
