As I study Volume 2, I find myself liking this workbook more and more. It isn't a huge amount of material, but when it comes to calculations, the most important thing is how accurately you solve problems at the correct speed. While I did prioritize advanced learning, reviewing current material and thoroughly preparing and reviewing seems to be a good guide for establishing proper study habits. I plan to continue working through it consistently. I love this workbook!
Problems and calculations are presented all at once, with repeated understanding and making it fun and engaging. As a result, my soon-to-be first-grader sits still and effortlessly solves three or four pages without any help. By repeatedly reading and helping them understand, they are gradually adapting to the difficulties of calculation.
