Description

*How to Read Galatians* is a book that guides readers in correcting churches that have fallen into hypocritical spirituality. It confronts head-on the temptation of hypocritical spirituality that the Apostle Paul truly pierced. Through a meticulous translation of the epistle's text, it clearly presents the key points of Paul's arguments alongside the author's own perspective. Unlike the traditional interpretation of Galatians as a debate between faith and works, this book views the crisis of the Galatian churches as a problem of "hypocritical spirituality." It points out those who use hypocritical spirituality to appear as people of strong faith, sharply criticizing it as nothing more than a camouflage to conceal the emptiness of spirituality, rather than a means of revealing true faith. It asserts that the crisis in Galatia represents the temptation of hypocritical spirituality and is connected to the issues that plague us today. It guides all Christians living under the temptation of hypocritical spirituality to cast off spiritual vanity and falsehood, and to face themselves squarely.

Although Galatians is shorter than Paul's other epistles, it is full of core Christian doctrines. This book describes this well.

In small print on the book cover, it reads, "An Apostle's Exhortation to a Church Lost in Hypocritical Spirituality." In the "Introduction," beyond the content itself, I felt a heartwarming sense of familial affection from the author. Perhaps because he intended to speak of the Apostle's exhortation, the content leading up to the overview seemed to demonstrate the essence of indirect speech, making him a master of piquing curiosity. I had come to know him through the program "Theology Punch,"
