Diseases, disasters and communities in modern American novels have been designed in the recent age of the Pandemiic crisis and recorded climate disaster as a way of searching for literature and community roles. Now, disasters are global phenomena, and we have to work together to help communities around the world to cope with disaster situations and overcome crises. The book wants to look back on the current 21st century by looking at the disasters and disasters published in modern English literature, so that we can have time to make an objective check on the situation and find solutions. The works that are discussed in this book throw out not only the context of the day but also the chords that we can never get away from. For example, the relationship between humans and nonhuman agents who have escaped from human-centeredness, the problems of the epidemic age, the point of the enmity and mourning, the link between infectious diseases and allegation, the escapism of the human body, the rise of political failure and plague, the particularly palpable problems of social and rich disparity in the time of the plague, new models of private and private relations, isolation from disease and the need of a community of sick people, a sense of personal care, a need for personal communication in the body.
