Ko Hye-kyung: Asking a Dream for Directions (Large Print Book)
How the historical tragedy remains a personal comfort. And how do you manage that? Life is hell for the wounded and dreams are nightmares. The past has thus been eclipsed. The wounds in the heart are endless and other things don't come into the eye. No one would want to live that way. But how? Can we really hold on to the past and dream of our lives? The group-massed dream project has taken a dream trip with seven photo-democracy activists in eight different places. Instead of the May story that he had been repeatedly telling, he brought his dream to Jubin. It's a journey inside of people who are experiencing social trauma. The 'dream May' group was formed by the Critic of Guangju Traoma Center, and all participants were people whose 5/18 changed direction to life. Already over 30 years later, they were still suffering nightmares and a combination of scissors, night vision, sleep and sleep sickness. Dreams, mirrors that illuminate the inner human beings, also reveal wounds but show beyond them with a non-fiction. I'm showing you what's hurt, but I've also been lighting you up who wants to live well. The book has a rich story of those who have walked in and explored that infinite world.
