Kim Young-sik: Anyone can become an artist

It's a very valuable experience to draw, to paint, to draw on a piece of paper or cloth, and to color. To draw a line, to color it is a precious process of experiencing the senses of consciousness, of meeting the unconscious world. It also has a deep connection to its psychological state and to its aesthetic sense. Drawing lines and coloring them is the manifestation of your psychological state and is close to revealing your claims. It is more precious to draw and color your own will, except to draw or paint without thinking about it, than to make you understand and love yourself.
