Kim Young-bum et al.: Old age

As the aging of the population has progressed rapidly, many studies have been conducted in our country for the elderly. Government-backed research panels and surveys of elderly people are a major survey of elderly persons across the country. This is very desirable in that it takes a nationwide survey of the elderly to understand and analyze the realities of life facing them and develop appropriate measures. However, the national survey of seniors has a very limited use as an understanding of the life and new issues that are being explored in certain local seniors.
