Kim Su-bong: History of Landscape Architecture

A book dealing with the transvestite of a landscape. The First Chapter theory explains that the concept and difference of gardens and landscapes can be interpreted as landscapes' formatives. Chapter two dealt with the time of change between the garden of the Bible and the garden in Mesopotamia and Egypt, the ancient gardens of Greece and Rome, the medieval gardens, the Renaissance, represented by Italy and France, and the 18th century landscape gardens, and 19th century parks and landscapes. The last chapter explains the nature of the Oriental gardens represented in Korea, China and Japan and the contemporary transformation of landscapes, especially in the development of urban parks in Korea including the traditional village forests, where they re-enlighted the landscape’s target city park in the current period.
