Kim Shin-gyu: Human Rights Act
This book was written for college students' education classes. That is, as responsible members of democratic civil society, all should be concerned about the minimum institutional device that democratic civil societies need to have in order to live happily ever after. Human rights are the right that a person should live to be human, but in order to make a real sense of what a civil society member should be in every sphere of life, there is not enough sharing of human rights issues and at the same time it will have to develop into a rational institutional improvement movement. To do so, it would be a step toward improving the human rights issues of our society by being part of a civil rights group that each citizen can call the component of a democracy. The philosophical foundation under which human rights are based is the value of life, freedom, justice, equality, social solidarity, environment, and peace. But human rights movements are not just a big ideological narrative that's far from our lives, but it's a real life problem for all of us. So, the way we do environmental campaigns, help refugees in Africa, help our disadvantaged neighbors, and feel sorry for the sick, is also a human rights movement in the end. This time? Human Rights Laws? I wish I could get closer to these readers who are normally interested in human rights and become ‘ breathing ’ in a real world that is not just an open-ended theory.
