This book was truly appealing because it allows you to read Korean history and world history together. It is *If You Know Korean History, You Can See World History*, published by Kim Youngsa. Kim Youngsa is a publisher familiar to us through *Distant Countries, Neighboring Countries*. Since the book was produced under the supervision of Professor Lee Won-bok, as soon as I opened it and saw the illustrations and style, I thought, "Oh, this looks just like *Distant Countries, Neighboring

<“If You Know Korean History, You Can See World History (Vol. 1)”> Kim Youngsa Written and Illustrated by Kim Seung-min and Geurimtte / Supervised by Lee Won-bok I’d like to introduce a delightful and fun history textbook that allows you to read Korean and world history simultaneously, which I haven't come across in a while. Professor Lee Won-bok, who supervised this book, is a familiar face thanks to *Distant Countries, Neighboring Countries*. I didn't know Professor Kim Seung-min well either,

Titled "If You Know Korean History, You Can See World History," it was co-created by Professor Lee Won-bok, well-known for his book *Distant Countries, Neighboring Countries*. Perhaps that is why the illustration style in the book is similar. Studying history seems to be a difficult subject for children, both in the past and present. There is so much to

If You Know Korean History, You Can See World History (Vol. 1 & 2). Our children are living in a global era. Now, studying world history is just as essential as studying Korean history. Just as the saying goes, "Korea in the World," we must learn Korean history within the context of world history alongside world history. History is no longer a separate entity of Korean history and world history. Cultural exchange with world history is truly crucial for Korea's role and growth within the global
