Kim Sang-bae et al.: Public diplomacy in the era of globalization
The second revision of public diplomacy in the era of geo-geogenization, published in August 2019. With the current trend toward globalization, information, and democracy, international politics has become increasingly interested in problems like technology, information and knowledge, communications and culture. The 21st - century world political arena has grown to recognize that power and money are not only important but also ‘ communication and empathy. ’. In this context, I've been more active in what is called the 'Communization World Politics', and one example of this change is the need for public diplomacy. Of course, it's not that we haven't been able to call public diplomacy before. In fact, it has never been important to communicate with the other person's governments and their citizens in the course of diplomacy and international politics. Nevertheless, today, the interest of the world is now being huddled with global politics and public diplomacy, which has been unlike in the past. In response to this trend, our country has instituted a '20 law of public diplomacy, and it's also actively engaged in public diplomacy as well as major public diplomacy for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Korean International Trade Foundation, which is a public diplomatic agency based on public diplomacy laws, has been supporting public diplomatic education at the National High School of Public Foreign Affairs to promote future generations of private diplomats. Written from the stage of planning, with textbooks for dean students in mind, it dealt with public diplomatic issues on the emerging ground, such as media diplomacy and digital diplomacy, development cooperation and technology diplomacy, including the traditional diplomatic problems on the ground.
