Kim Moon-kyung: The Gospel of John

The purpose of this commentary is to help layman, seminarians, pastors and theological professors to understand the Scriptures correctly, along with the faith of the Jesuit General Assembly. The 90th General Assembly of the Society of Jesus ’ principals (2005) decided to publish a standard commentary on the establishment of the identity of the Church of England and the theological standards of the Presbyterian Church in Korea as part of the ‘ Consulation of the 100th Year Memorial. ’. Then came the closing comment at the end of the pages of the deep prayers and research of the writers. The National Assembly of the Presbyterians, the 100th anniversary review, tried to adopt as a major translation of the literary, historical and theological principles adopted by the Reformers and to make it easy for them to understand the meaning of God’s revealed Word in prayer. The pastor or layman also introduced the ‘medication for preaching ’ to help him understand the Scriptures, and helped him to get the whole picture by giving him a few paragraphs instead of each verse.
