Description

Global industry has undergone remarkable development since the 1700s. The invention of power gave industry strength, and electric control devices enabled the establishment of intelligent automation processes. In particular, the automobiles we use every day have seen their past mechanical manual operation units replaced by electronic control units; with the addition of various driver assistance systems and sensors, we have entered a world where autonomous vehicles have emerged. While industrial development has improved automotive performance and achieved a degree of success in standardizing and making prices realistic through the introduction of mass production systems, dissatisfaction with standardized designs has persisted for over half a century. Although consumer tastes and desires are becoming increasingly diverse, mass-produced products are unable to resolve these issues. Now that we have entered the era of Industry 5.0, it is time for a change in the production methods of the automotive industry. This book presents the future direction for the automotive industry. It proposes designing cars to reflect consumer preferences and customizing them to suit individual needs; while this may initially face a lot of negativity, we must not forget that most of the revolutions created by humanity were born amidst negativity and uncertainty.
