I recommend this as a biography series for children. I think it's better to introduce them to great figures through this series rather than difficult books. They are really enjoying reading it.
I think the Darakwon Great People series is all good. I hope more great figures continue to be released.
It starts with the story of Gandhi as a timid boy who was teased by his friends, and continues to the story of how, as an adult, he led India to independence through nonviolent resistance. It also tells the story of Gandhi refusing to write down the English words his teacher secretly taught him to impress a British inspector. We had many conversations about our thoughts using this story. My 6-year-old seems to understand it well without difficulty, and he appears to be asking more questions and
This is a great Darakwon curriculum-linked biography for young children. We read the story of Gandhi, the cowardly boy who became a hero of India. My son asked, "Who is Gandhi?" I told him, "You'll know who he is once you read it, son." It is a children's book I read with my 6-year-old son, and I think it is a good biography to read before starting elementary school. It isn't difficult, and the illustrations are easy for young children to look at, so it is enjoyable to read. Our cat also

Kim Kyung-hee: Gandhi, the cowardly boy who became a hero of India
Gandhi, the cowardly boy who became a hero of India. As a child, he was so timid that his friends teased him for being a coward, but Gandhi grew up to be a child who never lied. While working as a lawyer in South Africa, which was under British rule, Gandhi was heartbroken to see the British treating Black people like slaves. Eventually, he launched a nonviolent resistance movement against racial discrimination. Through Gandhi's movement, the British government abolished laws discriminating against Indians, and India finally gained independence from Britain. The story of Gandhi, a cowardly boy who couldn't even urinate at night but became respected by people all over the world, resonates deeply with us living in the present.
