Description

The financial crisis in the United States in 2008, as an alternative to living together better for a better world, has affected many countries around the world, causing a global economic recession. Southern Europe, in these financial crises, was particularly affected by the bank bankrupt and many were fired. But companies that run as cooperatives in Italy and Spain showed rather stability, with little impact on the world's financial crisis. This shows that the social economy that has been emerging recently can solve social problems with community-based economic activity. So, social economies represented by social enterprises, cooperatives and village companies show that they can serve as a partial alternative, although not absolutely, in the capitalist market economy, where so many problems are emerging. Young people who should live in the future are required to think and practice things differently, such as collaborations that they seek in the social economy.
