He is a respected elder in Korean society. I happened to watch a TV program and went to a bookstore that same week to buy the book. He has authored many books, but I was drawn to the title. It is a book that makes you want to age gracefully.

Dialogue Between Eternity and Love by Kim Hyung-suk. I read Professor Kim Hyung-suk's writings back in the 1980s, and recently I purchased and read *Having Lived for a Hundred Years* and *For the Time That Remains* at Kyobo Bookstore. I was deeply moved to learn that Professor Kim, an author whose works moved me deeply during my youth and fostered my philosophical thinking, is still alive and actively engaged now that I am in my mid-60s. What else could he be but a living textbook? Since

Since it is the story of someone who has lived for a hundred years, it doesn't seem like a frivolous tale. This is just the beginning, but it is a book that will leave a lasting impression once you finish reading it.

You simply must read the books of the 100-year-old Professor Kim Hyung-suk. Of course, this is an essay collection published in the past. However, while reading his other reissued books as well, I felt that the attitude and mindset expressed here are still highly necessary today. Isn't this possible because he wrote for eternity, not for fleeting popularity? I highly recommend reading it.

For the first time in a long while, I read a heartwarming essay that warmed me from the very depths of my heart. *Dialogue Between Eternity and Love*, the representative work of philosopher Professor Kim Hyung-suk, is a record-breaking bestseller that rewrote the history of Korean essays. It was a bestseller in the 1960s, long before I was even born, and holds the phenomenal record that will forever remain in book history, having sold approximately 600,000 copies at the time. My expectations

This was a book I absolutely would not have attempted if I had chosen it on my own. A book about philosophy, to think I would! But once I actually started reading, it flowed smoothly:) This is why taking on challenges seems so important. Professor Kim Hyung-suk is an emeritus professor of philosophy at Yonsei University. The first edition of this book was written in 1961; I reread the preface while reading because, whenever the historical context or stories about money came up, I realized, "Ah,

Upon seeing the title *Dialogue Between Eternity and Love*, I was initially hesitant to read it. The primary reason was that, with the intention of avoiding a "picky" diet, I had planned to cut back on essays for the time being. However, *Dialogue Between Eternity and Love* contained content that completely redefined my understanding of what an essay should be. This is not to say that previous essays were lacking in essence. If previous essays were closer to everyday life, seeking empathy

Having seen the author's *Having Lived for a Hundred Years*, released a few months ago, in various places and browsed through it a few times at bookstores, I was initially fascinated to learn that this was an essay written by the same person in their younger days. I was even told that it was an overwhelming bestseller in the non-fiction category back in 1961, over 60 years ago. I started reading with a mix of anticipation and excitement, but there were quite a few parts that made me wince or

Even though this was written 56 years ago by a 98-year-old philosophy professor, I feel deeply moved thinking that he is speaking directly to me right now. Although I am 50 and past my youth, it sounds as if he is speaking to me as I stand on the cusp of the centenarian era. He visited my church to give a lecture, and ever since then, I have made sure to read his books. This book, which discusses the importance of character development and human relationships, is undoubtedly the perfect gift

Before reading this book, upon seeing the title, I wondered what connection eternity and love might have with our lives. After reading it, I felt that the author intended to convey his longing for eternity and the meaning of his life through this book, reminding us that these issues are not limited to himself but apply to all of us. I also came to understand the author's intention in choosing the title, "A Dialogue Between Eternity and Love." I believe that title best encapsulates the author's
