Kim Hyun-ah: The story of the travel school Roadscola

The only, perhaps the only, travel-based school in Korea that represents the School Schola on Giload, as it is called, is the road trip. In the motto ‘The Happy Jo of Travel and Human Literature,’ all the curriculums in the school (for foreign languages, history, philosophy, literature, economics, writing, music) are a matter of course. From small rural villages to countries across the world, all the places they travel are classrooms, halls and workshops. Learning is a big thing. A lot of reading, writing skills, creative and creative music, published every single term, their writings have already been tied together in books, and their performances are always crowded with audiences despite their fees. Many students have been praised for various films and have been featured as independent film directors. And while they are skilled, it's obvious that there is something special about their attitude toward the world and their way of dealing with life. How could we do this in a small alternative school, not in a physical school? The road trip to the road school, Rodszülla, is a dramatic report of the success and possibilities of alternative education in our country that has been so much more than a status and expectations. In showing intense concern and search for teachers, including writers, in showing the outstanding achievements of students, in proving that travel can be studied, above all, opened up new ground for alternative education.
