It is a decent book, but it is a bit disappointing. I was worried because Cho Hee-yeon wrote the recommendation, and indeed, it feels a bit strange. The chapter that begins with the question, “Is imposing military service on women gender equality?” starts with his characteristic sophistry asking, “Is military service imposed only on men? Or are women excluded?” However, I finished reading it because I could feel the effort to maintain a neutral stance.
