As students advance to higher grades, many find science difficult. This is because the number of scientific concepts increases and the level becomes more in-depth. To address this, understanding scientific principles and concepts through everyday phenomena can be a better approach than reading difficult science books. This helps cultivate a habit of interest and curiosity in the phenomena around them. Science is closely related to everyday phenomena. Particularly during the elementary school years when students first begin learning science, utilizing familiar materials for learning can heighten their scientific curiosity and prompt them to ask "why?", thereby providing opportunities to resolve these questions using materials found in their surroundings. For students unfamiliar with inquiry-based activities, using familiar materials allows them to approach difficult scientific phenomena more easily and provides more opportunities to engage in process-oriented inquiry without giving up. Therefore, this work utilizes familiar everyday materials and various scientific phenomena occurring in daily life as strategies for 4On’s-based integrated science activities. To help children understand the essence of science, it is essential to be able to utilize diverse environments beyond just the classroom and laboratory. In particular, the playground science activities in this book will resolve the limitations of the classroom learning environment and provide children with a stage for proactive science activities. Furthermore, PhotoVoice activities, which are not widely used in domestic science education, will serve as a groundbreaking teaching and learning method that puts children in the driver's seat, offering an opportunity to hear their inner thoughts about science.
