Kim Cheol: Indian Way

“Whether the ill-treated party did it or whether the uniformed soldier did it in the sound of a march, the murder was murder. So someone has to answer. Someone has to explain the blood of the Indians shed in 1839. Someone should explain the 4,000 graves that died on the road of exile. I want to forget the nightmares of that time. But I can't erase the Cherokes who were on the road to their death, being burned in 645 carriages over the frozen land that still grows. This is a story of the Cherokees who were forced to leave their land and not be able to face the violence and threats of whites. Not only the Cherokes, but Native Americans have endured long years of forced migration, taking their land from white immigrants. The Indian Guidgets are dealing with their stories. As we look back on the miserable migration of the absolute power-holding immigrants, we see another history under the Americas.
