Keith Barton et al.: What should civic education teach?

Professor Keith Barton's third English translation: The Guide to Society, Moral and History, and the book Why Should History Teach?, in 2017, offered a very useful guide for history teachers who are concerned about “how to educate themselves in the interests of democratic citizenship.”. Considering the ultimate goal of civil education to raise more moral citizens than righteous individuals, it is a big indication of Korean society's social and morality and education in the sense that its authors suggest specific ways to guide this practice in pursuit of values of justice and harmony.
