I bought this book without hesitation because I heard that Mr. Hong Sang-wook had published one. The content is really substantial and lively, which I like. It is great for beginners to read through quickly without feeling overwhelmed. One downside is that the CD only features native speaker recordings. I wish it had included Mr. Hong Sang-wook's voice and songs as well. Since there are many illustrations, it is a good book that is easy to read straight through and enjoyable.
I listen to "Rapid Delivery Chinese" on KBS every morning, so when I heard that the show's book was released, I bought and took a look. The segments "Ching Ching Song Song," "Just Hanja," "Yippu Yipu," and "Riding a Rooster to China" seem to be taken directly from the broadcast, while the other sections appear to contain content created by the publisher. The Chinese section is at a level suitable for beginners like me. It includes introductions to current singers I personally like, such as Jay
