I tried to buy the age of axis and bought Buddha with him who had woken himself up in connection with Buddhism. The book of this writer is about to be read by a group that studies together.:) Helpful books.
There are many other books that deal with Buddha's life, but what is called the strength of this book seems to be a look at his life as a religious scholar in the West, thus revealing the human appearance of Buddha as he was not aware of it, and thus linking a large mountain of Buddhist origin, called Buddhism from a standpoint of comparative religion.
Even if you are not very interested in Buddhism or religion, you may be encouraged to read this book at least once. It's a Western Buddhist book, and you may doubt its depth and content, but Karen Armstrong, a prominent English religious scholar, is as reliable as she is. With Roger Selazni, famous for his "Society of the Gods," he is a few Westerners who understand Eastern philosophy well.
