“Children's Idioms for When You Need Them” is a recommended book for lower elementary students to develop vocabulary and thinking skills. In an educational comic book format, children can easily understand the meanings and anecdotes behind idioms and learn expressions applicable in various situations. It is even more effective to study repeatedly using a notebook! 😊
It is very informative.
This is a book my child reads whenever they have a spare moment after school or before going to tutoring these days. It is categorized into 10 themes—such as attitudes, emotions, situations, relationships, and characters—and includes 10 corresponding idioms for each. It contains a whopping 100 idioms in a single volume. Since the meanings are understood first through short comics, it becomes easy to encounter the idioms. The passages, featuring 4-panel comics, speech bubbles, and quiz
My child likes it very much.
