Mastering the Basics of Elementary English Grammar... I encountered an English grammar textbook for the first time. It felt like a perfect fit for elementary school students. "Grammar Up Basic" consists of three volumes, and Volume 1 covers eight types of grammar. It has already been two months since I started "Mom-taught English" with Jay. I don't know if it's because we've been consistent, but Jay's skills are improving by leaps and bounds day by day. However, there was one unfortunate aspect. Since I'm not very good at English myself, while I can study and teach him vocabulary, I lacked the ability to systematically teach him grammar rules. Regarding Grammar for elementary students... although I teach it myself, there are limits to how much lower-grade elementary students can understand. In fact, even the Korean grammar found in textbooks is difficult for middle school students. Therefore, I believe that for elementary students, rather than teaching grammar using a dedicated Grammar book, thoroughly teaching the Expressions presented step-by-step in a Course Book allows for a much easier and more systematic approach to grammar.

Book: Elementary English Grammar Basic Completion GRAMMAR UP “BASIC” Vol. 1. Grammar books are something we barely pay attention to when teaching English to toddlers!! However, as children enter elementary school and move into the upper grades, I find myself worrying more about the importance of grammar and the necessity of learning it. Since grammar is perceived as difficult and boring, children are reluctant to approach it, making it difficult for mothers to easily decide which book to use.

How are you helping your middle and upper elementary students with their English grammar? Deciding on 'GRAMMAR UP BASIC' also served as an opportunity to review my child's English study methods. My daughter studied English consistently at after-school programs and academies after entering elementary school, but recently she has been studying on her own, so I chose 'GRAMMAR UP BASIC' as an elementary grammar book for homeschooling. I wanted to select a book that is good for studying alone at
