Joo Sung-jae: Disputed Name East Sea, Reality and Expectations

We call the Sea of the East Sea, which is east of the Korean peninsula, which has been seen to be a current rising from the channel of water between our country and Russia, between Japan and the United States, and which has gone down from the Yuan States. We are so natural and familiar to begin with, but in many other countries we are more known as the Sea of Japan. Why do other countries know the East Sea by another name? What are our official positions and movements that we've expressed in this regard? The conflict-like year of the year, reality and expectation are 30 years of the Korean - and sum up the situation and outlook. In the early 1990s, when the Korean government began to announce the rise of the Great War on the international community, each country was reluctant to call the sea between the Korean Peninsula and Japan’s 10 degrees Hajhh or another equivalent. However, Korean governments and experts have suggested that the Japanese should share the East Sea and Japan until the agreement is reached with the Japanese people who are meeting the sea, calling for respect for the name that South Koreans have been using for over 2000. The goal is not to replace the Japanese Sea with the East Sea but to use two names because it has been determined by international resolutions that recommend the widespread use of the Japanese sea and, above all, by a disease, are relatively more likely to be realized than any other. South Korea thus focused on recognizing that the issue of East/ Japanese notation is a place-to-size conflict that should be resolved between the countries and by intervention of international organizations. The result was successful.
